We want to let you know that CHAT has adopted a number of new policies to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic CDC and state guidelines, both internally and externally.
- We're limiting our contact with other people while still performing essential duties like fixing plumbing issues or other necessary repairs and wearing the necessary protection. - Our housing manager, Mark Alvidrez, has created a friendly and helpful flyer for our residents that other organizations are free to use or adapt, which we've attached here, and we can make the PDF file available to anyone who needs it. - We've made sure all the houses we manage have ample supplies of hand soap and hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies. - Any CHAT board member, volunteer, staff member, or contractor who can work from home is now doing so. - All of our board and staff meetings are now being held remotely via Zoom, which is working out really well for us. - We're suspending our presence at the Chico Saturday morning farmers market.
We really miss being out and about in the community but this is what we need to do to make sure the
spread of this virus is flattened out. Please stay safe, and do your part to protect your loved ones, and ours, by employing social distancing and limiting travel as much as you possibly can.
