Pay Range: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
Job Summary: The Grants & Programs Administrator plays a pivotal role in managing the full lifecycle of grant processes within the organization. This includes identifying funding opportunities, preparing and submitting grant proposals, and ensuring compliance with grant guidelines and regulations. The Grants Administrator collaborates with various departments to monitor project progress, track expenditures, and report on outcomes.
Essential Functions:
Facilitates prospect research, development, review/editing, and submission of grant proposals.
Conducts research and maintains a library of appropriate funding sources for current and potential programs, as well as capital projects.
Maintains communication with senior leadership, the Executive Director, and staff to identify funding needs.
Coordinates with the Social Services Manager to ensure program operations are in line with grant funding criteria and that program-related reporting is completed as required.
Completes all Foundation proposals and grant applications.
Coordinates with the Finance Department to complete grant reimbursement claims.
Drives grant process from start to finish, including coordinating application process; working with appropriate staff to establish program goals, outcomes, budgets; and completing proposals within established deadlines.
Establishes and implements procedures to monitor and fulfill grant requirements.
In partnership with the Finance Department, tracks progress of awarded grants toward program/project goals, and outcomes, as well as budget expense tracking, to effectively complete reporting requirements.
Builds relationships and acts as a liaison to funders.
Maintains relationships with community partners related to grant activities.
Effectively manages time to avoid backtracking and delay of tasks.
Participates in staff meetings by contributing expertise and identifying possible solutions and process improvements.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or an AA from an accredited institution with equivalent years of experience
Grant proficiency
Experience with grant research, writing, reviewing, editing, and submission
Experience with Housing Community Partners
Experience with vulnerable populations
Core competencies as listed above
Pass all required background checks
Excellent computer skills required
Driver’s License and auto insurance required for driving on company business
Typical Working Environment:
Work is performed primarily indoors. Time is spent split between: (1) office setting with moderate noise levels consistent with a typical office setting; (2) in a home environment working remotely. Primary work location is designated as the CHAT office.
Equipment/Tools:
Computer, Keyboard, Phone, Tablet/iPad, Multifunction Printer/Copier, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
Interaction/Supervision:
Interact with all levels of staff, coworkers, clients, and the general public.
Physical Demands:
Constantly (67% +): Talking, hearing, reading, using a desktop or laptop computer.
Frequently (34-66%): Sitting, using a keyboard, standing, walking on normal surfaces.
Rarely (less than 1 hour per week): Reaching outward, bending, pushing, and pulling up to 10 lbs., repetitive hand motion, driving on company business.
Hours of Work:
This position will work the hours necessary to meet the needs of the business and to complete necessary job duties. May include work during days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
