Join us at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at The Westport in downtown Chico to watch a must-see film that the Chronicle of Philanthropy calls “An Inconvenient Truth for charities.”
UnCharitable challenges conventional ideas about charity, arguing that the current system often hinders the effectiveness of nonprofits by discouraging them from spending money on necessary aspects, such as marketing and staff salaries, which ultimately prevents them from achieving large-scale positive change.
