Butte Count Veterans Stand Down is an event for homeless veterans to provide them with supplies and connect them with resources. It'll take place at the Chico Elks Lodge at 1705 Manzanita Ave over three days: Fri, Oct. 1st, 11 am - 4 pm; Sat, Oct. 2nd, also 11 am - 4pm; and Sun, Oct 3rd, 11 am - 2 pm. Butte County agencies and local non-profits will be on hand with supplies and information about housing, healthcare, and other programs for veterans. We encourage you to share this event information with your community and faith groups.
