We're pleased to announce that Chico Noon Rotary will join our volunteer team this Saturday, Oct. 16th from 9 am to 11 am at 460 Ryan Ave. in Chico to help build the sleeping cabins for Everhart Village, a new non-congregate emergency-shelter village near Enloe Prompt Care on Cohasset Avenue, on county-owned property. The Rotarians will be helping CHAT with the rough plumbing that needs to be done in order to get these units prepared for installation of sinks and toilets. This is a crucial step because once the rough plumbing is done, we will be able to have our first inspection, then move on to installation of the insulation and sheetrock, in order to finally complete these sleeping cabins so they can be moved onto the Everhart Village site.
