Simplicity Village overcomes another obstacle! On August 1st, the Chico Planning Commission rejected an appeal filed by Rob Berry and Pay Less Building Supply against Simplicity Village. We are so grateful to everyone who spoke up for the village at the commission meeting. More than forty people spoke in support of the village plan, with only Payless Building Supply owners and one residential neighbor speaking in opposition. Mr. Berry and Mr. Solinsky, of Payless Building Supply, now have appealed to the next level, which is the Chico City Council.
